A Notion database ID is the unique alphanumeric string embedded in a database's share link URL, located between the workspace name and the question mark. You can retrieve it in seconds by copying the database link from the Share menu and reading the ID directly from the URL.
Steps
- In the top right corner of your Notion database, click Share.
- Click Copy link to copy the database URL to your clipboard.
- Paste the link into an empty space so you can read the full URL.
- Look for the long string of letters and numbers in the URL — the database ID is located after the workspace name and before the question mark ?.
