How to Fork a Collection in Postman

It is very easy to fork a collection in Postman. Here’s a short tutorial on how to do it in simple steps:

  1. On Postman's main workspace, navigate to the left-side panel and click 'Collections'.
  2. Browse the list, then select the specific collection you want to fork.
  3. After that, click 'Fork' to proceed.
  4. Come up with a unique label for your fork and then enter it into the provided input field. Subsequently, specify the workspace and environment you prefer to use. Simply click their respective menus and choose your preferred options.
  5. Once done, click 'Fork Collection' to proceed.
  6. After completing these steps, the selected Postman collection will be forked instantly.
