Quick summary
You can export Power BI dashboard data to Excel in just a few clicks using the built-in Export data option on any visual. The process saves your data as a .xlsx or CSV file directly to your computer without leaving Power BI.
Steps
- Navigate to the dashboard page that contains the visual or table you want to export.
- Click the three dots (more options menu) in the top-right corner of the visual.
- Select Export data from the dropdown menu.
- Choose CSV as the file format and click Save to begin the download.
- Once the export is complete, a .xlsx file will be saved to your computer.
