Use this interactive demo to learn how to export your Microsoft Project plan to a single-page PDF.

‍

‍

You can export Microsoft Project files by using the print option. Here’s how to do it:

‍

  1. Open your Microsoft Project file and go to the 'File' tab.
  2. From the sidebar, select 'Print'.
  3. In the 'Printer' menu, select 'Microsoft Print to PDF'.
  4. Make sure to set the 'Settings' as 'Print Entire Project'.
  5. Set the page as 1 page.
  6. Click 'Page Setup' to configure your page.
  7. From the 'Scaling' section, make sure to set the fit and width into 1.
  8. Click 'OK' to save the changes. Then, your Project will be saved and exported in one page.

📌 Why this matters

Exporting your project timeline to a single PDF page transforms complex schedules into shareable snapshots that stakeholders can quickly grasp. While multi-page exports scatter information across documents, fitting everything on one page creates a powerful visual overview that reveals project scope, dependencies, and critical paths at a glance.

This condensed format proves invaluable during executive presentations, client meetings, and status updates where you need immediate comprehension rather than detailed navigation. The single-page constraint forces clarity and helps identify potential timeline issues that might otherwise hide in sprawling multi-page layouts.
