Salesforce admins can enable dark mode org-wide by editing the active theme inside Themes and Branding under Advanced Setup. This feature, currently in Beta, lets individual users toggle a darker interface to reduce eye strain and improve readability.
Steps
- Click the gear icon in the top-right menu of the Salesforce dashboard to open settings.
- Select Open Advanced Setup from the dropdown menu.
- In the Quick Find search box, search for and select Themes and Branding.
- Find and select the current active theme from the list.
- Click the dropdown on the right side of the theme and choose Edit.
- Scroll down to the Dark Mode (Beta) section and click Let users enable dark mode.
- Click Save to apply the changes and activate dark mode for your org.
