The Account Contact Relationship feature in Salesforce lets users link a single contact to multiple accounts, improving CRM data accuracy. You enable it through Advanced Setup by turning on the Contacts to Multiple Accounts setting in Account Settings.
Steps
- Click the gear icon at the top right of the Salesforce dashboard to open the settings menu.
- Select Open Advanced Setup from the dropdown menu.
- In the Quick Find search box, search for and select Account Settings.
- Click Edit to make the Account Settings editable.
- Go to Contacts to Multiple Accounts Settings and enable the option to allow users to relate a contact to multiple accounts.
- Click Save to apply and confirm the changes.
