Knowing how to edit a slicer in Power BI — including changing the style to a dropdown or vertical list and configuring multi-select or single-select behavior — gives report authors full control over the user experience. Properly configured slicers reduce dashboard clutter, improve report performance, and help business users find insights faster without requiring technical intervention.
