Editing the lead status in HubSpot allows you to update a contact’s progress in your sales pipeline and keep your records organized.

  1. Log in to your HubSpot account and navigate to your main dashboard.
  2. From the left sidebar, click on CRM, and select Contacts from the dropdown menu.
  3. Search for the contact whose lead status you want to update.
  4. On the contact record, locate the Lead Status property in the left panel.
  5. Click the Status beside to modify the value, and choose the appropriate lead status from the dropdown list.
  6. You’re all set! The lead status has been successfully updated.
