In this tutorial, you’ll learn how to edit layers in Adobe Acrobat
Note: This works only if the PDF was created with layers. Acrobat mainly lets you show/hide layers and change layer settings.
- Open your PDF file in Adobe Acrobat.
- On the menu bar, click View > Show/Hide > Side panels > Layers.
- In the Layers panel, click the eye icon to show or hide a layer.
- Right-click a layer and select Layer Properties (or Properties) to adjust settings like name and visibility behavior (when available).
- Click the Options menu in the Layers panel to access more actions (for example, Import as layer, Merge Layers, or Flatten Layers, if available).
- When you’re done, close the Layers panel (click the X)
