Steps
- Sign in to studio.youtube.com and click Content in the left sidebar.
- Click the title or thumbnail of the video whose captions you want to edit.
- Click Subtitles in the left sidebar.
- Under the language row, click Edit (pencil icon) next to the automatic captions labeled subtitle track.
- In the subtitle editor, review each caption line and click any line that contains an error.
- Edit the text directly in the caption field; use video playback alongside the editor to verify timing and wording.
- When all corrections are made, click Publish.
