Quick summary
This demo shows how to disable verification codes in Salesforce by navigating to Identity Verification settings in Advanced Setup and turning off SMS and email verification methods. Salesforce admins can complete this configuration in just a few clicks from the dashboard gear icon.
Steps
- Click the gear icon at the top right of the Salesforce dashboard to open settings.
- Select Open Advanced Setup from the dropdown menu.
- In the Quick Find search box, type and select Identity Verification.
- Under Verification Methods, disable the options for users to verify via text (SMS) and email.
- Scroll down, then click Save to apply the changes.
