Quick summary
This demo shows how to delete files and permanently clear file storage in Salesforce by using the Files app and the Recycle Bin. Follow the steps to remove individual files or empty the entire org recycle bin to recover storage space.
Steps
- Click the App Launcher at the top of the dashboard.
- Scroll down and select Files from the app list.
- Select a file, then click the dropdown menu on the right side.
- Choose Delete from the available options.
- Click Delete to confirm the deletion.
- Return to the App Launcher and search for Recycle Bin.
- Select a file in the Recycle Bin, then use the dropdown button to permanently delete it.
- Or empty all files at once by clicking Empty Org Recycle Bin at the top right of the page.
