This tutorial shows how to delete a transaction in Xero by navigating to Bank Accounts and using the Remove & Redo option. The process takes under a minute and permanently removes the selected bank transaction from your Xero records.
Steps
- On the Xero main dashboard, go to the top menu bar and click Accounting.
- Choose Bank Accounts from the dropdown list of options.
- Select the specific bank account that contains the transaction you wish to delete.
- Find the transaction you want to delete and tick the checkbox beside it.
- Click Remove & Redo to initiate the deletion.
- Click Yes to confirm your request and proceed.
- The selected transaction will now be permanently deleted from your Xero account.
