Deleting a bucket in Microsoft Planner removes the entire task grouping column from your plan's board view. This process takes just a few clicks using the More Options menu next to the target bucket.
Steps
- Go to the left-side panel and click 'My Plans'.
- Find and select a plan from the given list.
- Locate the bucket you want to delete, then click the 'More Options' button next to it.
- Select 'Delete' from the dropdown choices.
- Click 'Delete' one more time to confirm your request.
- The selected bucket will now be permanently deleted from your plan.
