How to Create Summary Tables in Coda

Quick summary

Coda's Summarize Table feature lets you aggregate and group table data inside any Coda doc without formulas or external tools. In just a few clicks, you can count rows, sum columns, and apply custom groupings to surface meaningful insights from your data.

Steps

1. Navigate to your Coda doc.
2. Click on the add icon to open the insert menu.
3. From the list, select 'Summarize table'.
4. Click on the drop-down menu to choose a table to summarize.
5. Select a table to summarize from the available options.
6. Select your preferred grouping for the summary values.
7. Your data is now successfully summarized in your Coda doc.
