How to Create Milestones in Microsoft Project

To create milestones, follow these steps:

1. Right-click on any row number in your project timeline where you want to add a milestone task.
2. Select 'New Task' from the context menu that appears.
3. Then, go to the 'Information' tab.
4. In the Task Information dialog box, navigate to the 'Advanced' tab.
5. Check the box labeled 'Mark task as milestone'.
6. Click 'OK' to save your changes. Your milestone will now appear as a diamond shape in the Gantt chart.
