How to Create Custom Properties in HubSpot

Creating custom properties in HubSpot allows you to store additional data for contacts, companies, deals, or tickets.

1. Log in to your HubSpot account and navigate to your main dashboard.
2. Head to Settings in the top right corner—this is where the magic happens.
3. Navigate to Properties under Data Management.
4. Click Create property to start building your custom property.
5. Select an Object type, choose a Group, enter a Property name, and select a Field type to define your custom property.
6. Once done with the setup, click Create to save your custom property.
7. You’re all set—your custom property is now ready to store data in HubSpot.
