Creating custom events in HubSpot allows you to track specific user actions on your website or app for deeper analytics and automation.
- Log in to your HubSpot account and navigate to your main dashboard.
- Click on Data Management, and select Event Management from the list.
- Click the Create event button, and select Create custom event.
- Choose your event method (e.g., Use visualizer, Code JavaScript, API, or Webhooks), then click Next to proceed.
- Enter your Website URL, select the elements to track using the Visualizer, then click Done to finish setup.
