Creating a tag in HubSpot is typically done using properties or labels, since HubSpot does not have a native “tag” feature like other CRMs.
- Log in to your HubSpot account and navigate to your main dashboard.
- Head to Settings—it's where all the customization magic happens.
- Now click on Properties from the left side panel.
- Click the Create property button.
- Enter a Property name, choose a Field type (Dropdown select or Multiple checkboxes), and add your Tag values (e.g., VIP, Lead, Follow-up).
