How to Create a Survey on SurveyMonkey

Steps

1. Log in and click Create Survey in the top right corner of the dashboard.
2. Choose a survey creation option from the available starting points.
3. Select a prompt from the provided choices to guide your survey structure.
4. Click the airplane icon to send your prompt and proceed to generation.
5. Your survey is automatically generated — click Continue to begin editing.
6. Give your survey a clear, descriptive title so respondents understand its purpose.
7. Navigate to the Build tab in the survey builder to add and edit questions.
8. Click the Options tab to customize survey settings such as behavior and display.
9. Click Preview to review how your survey looks and functions before publishing.
10. Click Next to move to the collect responses setup stage.

12. Generate a survey link and share it via email, social media, or website embed.
