How to Create a Social Media Post in Buffer

Buffer lets you create and publish social media posts across multiple channels from a single dashboard. In just a few steps you can write your content, choose a social media account, and either share immediately or schedule it for later.

Steps

1. Click on the Channels tab and choose the social media account where you want to post.
2. Click on New Post to open the post composer.
3. Enter your text, hashtags, links, or mentions in the composer field.
4. Click the dropdown arrow next to Add to Queue to reveal additional scheduling options.
5. Pick Share Now for immediate posting.
6. Your post is now ready to go live at the selected time.
