How to Create a Segment in HubSpot

Creating a segment in HubSpot allows you to group contacts or companies based on specific criteria using lists.

1. Log in to your HubSpot account and navigate to your main dashboard.
2. In the left sidebar, click CRM menu and select Segments from the dropdown list.
3. Click " Create Segment” in the top-right corner.
4. Select the object type (Contacts or Companies).
5. Click Next to move forward and define your segment criteria.
6. Enter a segment name for your list.
7. Hit Next again to review your segment setup before saving.
8. Click Save and process segment to finalize and start building your list.
9. Your segment is now created and ready to use in HubSpot.
