How to Create a Profile Property Klaviyo

Use this interactive demo to learn how to add a custom profile property to a Klaviyo customer profile.

Steps

  1. Navigate to the Audience section to explore your customer database.
  2. Choose Profiles, where all customer information is centralized.
  3. Access a sample profile to view individual customer data.
  4. Navigate to Custom properties and click Add custom property.
  5. Define what type of customer information you want to track.
  6. Select First Name as a key personalization data point.
  7. Add the specific information for this customer.
  8. Enter the customer's first name to personalize the profile.
  9. Click Add profile property to save the personalization data and enrich the customer profile.
  10. Confirm success and use the saved data for personalized emails and targeted campaigns.
