How to Create a Private App Access Token in HubSpot

Use this interactive demo to learn how to create a private app access token in HubSpot.

Creating a private app access token in HubSpot lets you securely connect your account to external tools and APIs for custom integrations.

Log in to your HubSpot account and navigate to your main dashboard.
Head to Settings in the top navigation—this is where all the configuration magic happens.
On the left side panel, click on Integrations, and select "Private Apps" from the dropdown menu.
Switch over to Legacy Apps to find older integrations.
Locate and click on the Legacy app from your app list.
Click the Auth tab to view your API token, then click Show token to reveal your secret key.
