How to Create a List View in Salesforce

Steps

  1. Navigate to Contacts using the menubar at the top of the page.
  2. Select List View in My Contacts to access the list view panel.
  3. Click the Gear icon to reveal the settings dropdown menu.
  4. Select New from the dropdown to begin creating a new list view.
  5. Enter a name for your new list view and click Save.
  6. Click Add Filter to start defining the view's filter criteria.
  7. Enter your filter parameters by setting the field, operator, and values for the list view.
  8. Click Save to apply the filter settings to your list view.
  9. Confirm the success prompt indicating your list view has been updated.
  10. Click the Gear icon again and select Select Fields to Display to customize visible columns.
  11. Move fields from Available Fields to Visible Fields to choose which data columns appear in your view.
  12. Click Save to finalize your field selection.
  13. Review the updated list view displaying contacts filtered by the conditions you configured.
