How to Create a Baseline Grid in Adobe InDesign

Here’s another method for creating a baseline-like grid by adding rows in the Guides panel. Although it isn’t an official Baseline Grid, it can serve a similar purpose:

1. Go to the top menu and click 'Layout.'
2. From the menu, select 'Create Guides' to open the Guides panel.
3. Once the panel is open, go to Rows and enter your desired number to create rows throughout the document. Click 'Preview' to see how it will look.
4. Click 'OK' to apply the rows to your document. While not an official Baseline Grid, these guides can serve a similar function for aligning text and objects.
