Copying subitems in Monday.com allows you to quickly duplicate tasks and their checklist steps without recreating them manually.
- Log in to your Monday.com account and open your workspace dashboard.
- Open the board that contains the item with the subitems you want to copy.
- Locate the main item that has the subitems attached to it.
- Click the three-dot menu next to the item name to open more options.
- From the dropdown menu, select Duplicate demo tasks.
- Monday.com will automatically copy the item along with all its subitems.
- Rename the duplicated item if needed, and your subitems will be copied along with the main item.
