Steps
- Open youtube.com and navigate to the YouTube Short you want to copy the link for.
- Click the address bar to highlight the full Shorts URL — it follows the format youtube.com/shorts/VIDEO_ID.
- Press Ctrl + C on Windows or Cmd + C on Mac to copy the URL.
- Paste the link anywhere using Ctrl + V or Cmd + V to confirm it copied correctly.
- Alternatively, click the Share icon on the right side of the Shorts player and select Copy to grab a shareable version of the URL.
