Steps
- Go to studio.youtube.com, navigate to Content, and find the YouTube Short you want to repurpose as a Reel.
- Click the three-dot More button below the video and select Download to save it to your device.
- Open Instagram and click the + Create button, then select Post from the content type options.
- Click Select from computer to choose the downloaded YouTube Short from your device.
- Ensure your video is in vertical format (9:16) before uploading for best results, then click Next.
- Trim the clip if needed, add captions, music, or effects, then click Next.
- Write your caption, add hashtags, and tap Share to publish the Reel.
