Use this interactive demo to learn how to automate Typeform responses into Google BigQuery rows.

Quick summary

This tutorial shows how to connect Typeform to Google BigQuery using a Zapier automation, so every new form entry is automatically inserted as a row for analysis. By the end, you will have a live Zap that streams survey or form data directly into your BigQuery dataset without any manual exports.

Steps

  1. From your Zapier dashboard, select Zap to create a new automation.
  2. Click on the Trigger field to begin selecting your trigger event.
  3. Search and select Typeform as the trigger app.
  4. Select New Entry as the trigger event to fire the Zap on each form submission.
  5. Connect your Typeform account to authorize access.
  6. Add the form you want to monitor and click Continue.
  7. Click Test trigger to verify that Zapier can pull a sample entry from Typeform.
  8. Search and select Google BigQuery as the action app.
  9. Select Create Row as the action event to insert data into BigQuery.
  10. Connect your Google BigQuery account to authorize access.
  11. Configure the action details — map Typeform fields to BigQuery columns — and click Continue.
  12. Click Test step to confirm a row is successfully created in BigQuery.
  13. Once the test is successful, click Publish to activate your Zap.

📌 Why this matters

Connecting Typeform to Google BigQuery via Zapier eliminates the need for manual CSV exports by automatically streaming every new form response into a scalable data warehouse in real time. This integration enables teams to run SQL-based analysis, build dashboards, and surface insights from survey or lead data without any custom engineering. For data-driven organizations, having Typeform responses land directly in BigQuery means faster reporting cycles and a single source of truth for form data. Zapier makes this two-app workflow accessible to non-technical users, reducing setup time from hours to minutes.
