Quick summary
Closing a survey on SurveyMonkey stops new responses from being submitted by deactivating the active collector. This is done through the Collect Responses tab using the ellipsis menu on the collector you want to close.
Steps
- In your dashboard, find the survey you wish to close and click on it.
- Click the 'Collect Responses' tab at the top of the survey editor.
- Find the active collector and click on the ellipsis icon next to it.
- Select 'Close collector' to stop accepting new responses for that particular link or method.
- Confirm the action by clicking the 'Close collector' option when SurveyMonkey prompts for confirmation.
- Once the collector is closed, participants will no longer be able to submit responses.
