This demo shows how to clone a user in Salesforce using the Agentforce AI assistant — a faster alternative to manually recreating user profiles and permissions. Admins can replicate an existing user's settings in minutes by typing a simple prompt into the AI chat.
Steps
- Click the Agentforce icon at the top-right of your Salesforce dashboard to open the AI assistant.
- Type a prompt in the AI chat box asking to clone a user.
- Wait for the AI agent to respond with its guided action plan.
- Go to the Users tab, select the user you want to clone, and copy their username.
- Paste the username into the form, complete the remaining details, then click Submit.
- Confirm that the user has been successfully cloned or created in Salesforce.
