Steps
- From the dashboard, click on the Contacts tab.
- Go to the Search tab within the Contacts section.
- Click Advanced search to access detailed filtering options.
- Click Add condition to define your segment based on inactivity criteria.
- From the drop-down menu, select a category for the condition.
- Select Message not opened as the action from the drop-down menu.
- Click Any message to apply the condition across all messages.
- Select the timeframe for the inactivity period.
- Click Apply to run the search and generate your filtered results.
- Name your segment and click Save to store the filtered list.
- Go to the Segments tab and select the segment you created for inactive contacts.
- Go to the Actions menu and click the vertical ellipsis.
- Select Delete from list from the actions menu.
- Confirm the action by clicking Yes, delete them to remove the inactive contacts.
- Your email list is now cleaned, improving deliverability and overall campaign performance.
