Quick summary
Salesforce email logs let admins track every outbound email sent from the org, including sender, recipient, delivery status, and timestamp. You can request and download these logs directly from Advanced Setup using the Email Log Files tool.
Steps
- Click the gear icon in the top-right menu of your Salesforce dashboard.
- Select Open Advanced Setup from the dropdown.
- In the Quick Find search bar, type and select Email Log Files.
- Click Request an Email Log to start a new log request.
- Enter the Start Date & Time and End Date & Time for the log period you want to review.
- Click Submit Request to send the log request.
- Wait for the email notification, then download the file to view sender, recipient, delivery status, and timestamp details.
