Steps
- Click the gear icon in the top right menu of the Salesforce dashboard to open settings.
- Select Open Advanced Setup from the dropdown menu.
- In the Quick Find search box, search for and select Profiles.
- Select a user profile and click Edit next to it.
- Scroll down to Standard Object Permissions to configure access for the record type.
- Select an object and adjust the required access settings by checking the box for the record type.
- Scroll to the bottom and click Save to apply your changes.
