How to Change Account Owner Insightly

Use this interactive demo to learn how to transfer account ownership in Insightly CRM.

Quick summary

Changing the account owner in Insightly CRM transfers primary administrative control to another team member. This process is completed through the Billing & Account settings in just a few steps.


Steps

  1. Access account settings to manage team permissions from the main navigation.
  2. Navigate to Billing & Account to manage subscription details and user roles.
  3. In the Account section, review who currently holds primary control over your Insightly instance.
  4. Click the drop-down arrow to open the ownership transfer options and assign leadership responsibilities.
  5. Search for a team member to transfer ownership privileges and administrative rights to.
  6. Click Change Account Owner to confirm and complete the transfer.
