Steps
- Click the "Start with this doc" button on the Slite creative brief template page to begin.
- Choose the destination where your creative brief document will be saved.
- Enter a project name to identify your creative brief.
- Add additional information such as budget, contributors, and launch date.
- Fill in the Background section to describe the project context and why the assignment matters.
- Use the "How could we?" section to describe the assignment itself in detail.
- Define your objectives — what you want to achieve and by when — and provide a reason for each goal.
- Back your objectives with measurable numbers and a set timeframe (e.g., 30% increase in traffic in 3 months).
- Define the criteria the assignment must meet to be considered successful.
- Review the criteria to confirm they accurately reflect your expected end results.
- Specify your Target Audience and add supporting Assets and an Appendix for additional context.
- Review the completed brief — a detailed creative brief ensures aligned expectations and accurate project vision.
