Here is how to link to pages and generate backlinks in Notion pages:
- To begin, we'll start this demo on the page we want backlinks on and notice the empty space below the page title.
- Go to the page you want to create links on to this page.
- Place your cursor where you wish to create the links.
- Use the @ command or double brackets as "[[" to start searching for the page you wish to link.
- Press enter or click on the page to link.
- You have now created a link to that specific page from your current page. This act will automatically also create a backlink on the target page.
- Navigate back to the page manually from your sidebar menu or by clicking the link.
- Notice a count of backlinks visible below the page title. Click to expand list.
- You will find a list of all backlinks to this page here. You can use these to go back to the exact place and page this page is linked at.
