How to Backlink in Notion

Here is how to link to pages and generate backlinks in Notion pages:

1. To begin, we'll start this demo on the page we want backlinks on and notice the empty space below the page title.
2. Go to the page you want to create links on to this page.
3. Place your cursor where you wish to create the links.
4. Use the @ command or double brackets as "[[" to start searching for the page you wish to link.
5. Press enter or click on the page to link.
6. You have now created a link to that specific page from your current page. This act will automatically also create a backlink on the target page.
7. Navigate back to the page manually from your sidebar menu or by clicking the link.
8. Notice a count of backlinks visible below the page title. Click to expand list.
9. You will find a list of all backlinks to this page here. You can use these to go back to the exact place and page this page is linked at.
