Assigning tasks in Monday.com helps team members clearly see who is responsible for each item on the board.

  1. Log in to your Monday.com account and open your workspace dashboard.
  2. Open the board where the tasks are located from the list on the left sidebar.
  3. Find the People column on the right side of the item row.
  4. Click the People cell to open the list of available team members.
  5. Select a person from the dropdown menu to assign the task.
  6. The task is now successfully assigned and will display the user’s profile icon in the column.
