Quick summary
Archiving a space in Confluence removes it from active navigation while preserving all its pages and content. This is useful for retiring outdated project spaces without permanently deleting any data.
Steps
- Go to the space you want to archive.
- Click Space settings (the gear icon in the sidebar).
- Scroll down and click "Archive space."
- Click "Archive space" again on the confirmation screen to continue.
