Use this interactive demo to learn how to create reusable Quick Text entries in Salesforce.

Quick summary

Salesforce Quick Text lets users insert pre-written messages instantly, saving time on repetitive responses in emails, chats, and records. This guide walks you through enabling the feature and creating your first Quick Text entry from scratch.

Steps

  1. In the Quick Find search bar, type and select 'Quick Text Settings'.
  2. Enable or turn on Quick Text from the settings toggle.
  3. Click the 'App Launcher' and type 'Quick Text' again in the search bar to navigate to the feature.
  4. Select 'New Quick Text' at the top right corner of the Quick Text list page.
  5. Fill in all required details in the dialog box, then modify the settings as needed.
  6. Once done, click 'Save' to confirm your new Quick Text entry.
  7. Your Quick Text has been successfully created and is ready to use.

📌 Why this matters

Salesforce Quick Text is a productivity feature that allows sales and support teams to instantly insert pre-approved, reusable text snippets into emails, chats, and records — eliminating repetitive typing. Enabling and configuring Quick Text correctly ensures your team can respond faster and maintain consistent messaging across every customer interaction. For organizations managing high volumes of communication in Salesforce, Quick Text directly reduces handle time and improves agent efficiency. This demo matters because setting it up incorrectly — or not at all — means leaving a built-in time-saving tool completely unused.
