📌 Why this matters

Accurate inventory management is critical for businesses that sell physical products, and Xero's built-in stock adjustment feature makes it easy to keep product quantities up to date without switching tools. By using the Products and Services module to post inventory adjustments directly to the correct account, businesses maintain clean financial records alongside accurate stock counts. This end-to-end integration between inventory tracking and accounting reduces manual errors and saves time for operations and finance teams. For any Xero user managing physical goods, knowing how to add product stock quickly ensures stock levels always reflect reality across sales, purchasing, and reporting.
