Quick summary
Adding an invoice in Xero takes just a few clicks using the Business menu. From the dashboard, users can create, fill, and save a new invoice directly within the Xero invoicing interface.
Steps
- On Xero's main dashboard, go to the top menu bar and click 'Business'.
- Choose 'Invoices' from the dropdown list of options.
- Click 'New Invoice' to open a blank invoice form.
- Enter all required invoice details into their respective input fields one by one.
- Review the invoice and click 'Save & Close' or 'Approve & Email' to finalise.
- A new invoice will now appear saved in your Xero account.
