How to Add Dataset in Power BI

Adding a dataset in Power BI is one of the first steps in building your report or dashboard. Here’s how to do it:

1. Make sure you’re on the 'Home' tab. Click the 'Get Data' button on the top left.
2. Choose your data source.
3. Select a file from your computer and click 'Open'.
4. Select the table you want to import and click 'Load'.
5. Go to the 'visualizations' pane.
6. Select a visual.
7. Once loaded, you can drag the fields and see your dataset in.
