This demo shows how to add an image to Gallery View in Notion by uploading a page cover and configuring the Card preview layout setting to display it as a thumbnail on each gallery card.
Steps
- Click the New button in the top-right corner of the gallery view to create a new entry.
- Click Add cover at the top of the new page.
- Click Change cover to open the cover picker panel.
- Choose Upload to add an image from your device.
- Select the image you want to use as the cover.
- Click outside the panel to exit the cover picker.
- Click the three-dot menu in the top-right corner of the database.
- Click Layout from the dropdown menu.
- Open the Card preview dropdown.
- Select Page cover to set the cover image as the gallery card thumbnail.
- Your uploaded image will now appear as the preview image on your Notion gallery card.
