Adding a lead source in HubSpot allows you to track where your contacts or deals are coming from using properties.
- Log in to your HubSpot account and navigate to your main dashboard.
- Click the settings icon in the top-right corner.
- Under Data Management, click on properties tab to open the properties page.
- Click Create property to start building your custom dropdown field.
- Enter the property name such as “Lead Source” and add a description if needed.
- For the field type, choose dropdown select so you can create multiple lead source options.
- Add your lead options like Facebook, LinkedIn, Website, Referral, or others.
- Click create property to save and apply the new lead source field.
- You can now use this property when creating or editing records to assign a lead source in HubSpot.
