How to Add a Contact to a Segment in HubSpot

Adding a contact to a segment in HubSpot is done by updating filters or contact properties since segments (lists) are automatically managed.

1. Log in to your HubSpot account and navigate to your main dashboard.
2. Click CRM menu and select Segments or Lists.
3. Open your target segment from the list.
4. Click on the Actions button, and select add contacts from the dropdown options.
5. Click Choose contacts to manually pick who gets added.
6. Click on the Add contacts button to finalize your selection.
7. The contact will now appear in the segment once it matches the defined criteria.
