How to Add 1Password to Chrome

Use this interactive demo to learn how to add 1Password to your Chrome browser.

This tutorial shows how to install the 1Password extension in Chrome, pin it to the toolbar, and start saving and autofilling credentials.

Note: You need a 1Password account to use the extension. There is a free 14-day trial at 1password.com if you don't have one yet.

Go to the Chrome Web Store at chromewebstore.google.com and type "1Password" in the search bar.
Click the "1Password – Password Manager" listing in the results.
In the 1Password – Password Manager page, click "Add to Chrome," then click "Add extension" in the confirmation dialog. Chrome installs the extension and adds the 1Password icon to your browser.
Click the Extensions icon (the puzzle piece) in the Chrome toolbar, then click the pin icon next to 1Password to keep it visible in your toolbar.
Click the 1Password icon in the toolbar and sign in to your account, or click "Create your 1Password account" to register an account.
