Here's how to do it:
- Log in to Zapier, click "Create", and select "Zaps" to begin.
- Click "Trigger."
- Search for Jira Software Cloud and select it.
- Choose a trigger event, such as "New Issue", "Updated Issue", or "Issue Transitioned".
- Connect your Jira account.
- Select the project and status to track.
- Run a test to ensure Zapier detects the Jira event correctly.
- Add Datadog as the Action App.
- Select an action event.
- Connect Datadog, map Jira fields to metrics, test the sync, and click "Publish" to activate your Zap.
