Steps
- Log in to Zapier, click Create, and select Zaps to start the automation process.
- Click Trigger to begin configuring the trigger step of your Zap.
- Search for and select Google Forms as the trigger app.
- Choose New Response in Spreadsheet as the trigger event, since Google Forms responses are stored in Google Sheets.
- Connect your Google account to Zapier and choose the specific Google Sheet linked to your form.
- Select the worksheet that contains the form responses.
- Run a test to ensure Zapier detects the form responses correctly.
- Add Slack as the Action App in your Zap.
- Choose Send Channel Message as the action event.
- Connect your Slack account to Zapier.
- Select the Slack channel where you want the form responses to be posted.
- Customize the message content to include form response fields such as the respondent's name, email, or answers.
- Run a test to confirm the Slack notification is sent correctly when new responses come in.
- Click Publish to activate your Zap and start the automation.
